About The Position

Oversee the total construction effort for multiple projects to ensure they are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. This role is instrumental in scaling the business by setting clear expectations and managing project team performance through adherence of a high level of accountability amongst team members to safety, budget, schedule, quality and the Caddell Way. The position involves planning, organizing, and participating in the recruitment and staffing of key office and field positions. If required, the role assists with interface and problem resolution with owners, A/E representatives, or subcontractors. Ensures adherence to all company, client, and project policies, procedures, and standards. Oversees the maintenance of official project log and documentation files, and the implementation/interpretation of safety programs at all times. Provides direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions as required, and assists with mobilization/demobilization of projects. Provides oversight of assigned projects with an understanding of owner contracts, subcontractor contracts, project billings, and the ability to report monthly project financial status. Participates in specific client and project pursuits as requested by executive management with the Governmental Business Unit, and also participates in project bids or preconstruction efforts as requested. Performs additional assignments per executive management’s direction.

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma/GED
  • 15 years’ experience as a project manager required.
  • Requires excellent technical and management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Working knowledge of all applicable Caddell processes and procedures.
  • Strong client relations skills are a must.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Must have a deep understanding of the “Caddell way.”

Nice To Haves

  • Four-year degree in engineering or construction management preferred.
