About The Position

Skillforce has teamed up with one of the leading commercial fence companies to find a Construction Estimator/Project Manager to work on commercial fence projects out of their Chantilly, VA office. This is a full-time position with this company.

Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of experience in estimating, project coordination, construction administration, or a related role
Strong ability to read and interpret building plans, blueprints, and technical specifications
Proven experience preparing detailed cost estimates and project proposals with a high level of accuracy
Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM/project management software for tracking projects, client communications, and bid activity
Must pass pre-employment drug screen to include marijuana testing

Nice To Haves

Construction industry experience preferred
experience in commercial construction is a plus

Responsibilities

Review project scope of work to ensure full understanding of client requirements, timelines, and deliverables prior to preparing estimates and proposals
Analyze building plans, drawings, and specifications to identify material requirements, labor needs, and potential project challenges or cost impacts
Compile detailed cost estimates and develop comprehensive proposals, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor pricing to ensure accurate and competitive bids
Communicate with clients throughout the bidding process, responding to questions, clarifying project details, and maintaining strong professional relationships to support successful bid outcomes
Utilize Salesforce to manage all aspects of project tracking, including maintaining client records, tracking bid status, organizing project documentation, and monitoring communication history
