About The Position

Best Line Equipment is currently seeking an experienced compact and/or heavy equipment Road Service Technician to join the team at our West Chester, PA facility. Our Road Service Technicians provide mobile service to West Chester and surrounding counties and are supplied cell phones, laptops, vehicles, fuel, and other items necessary to successfully perform independently off location. Road technicians travel to job sites and customer locations to perform duties. Some on-call responsibilities may apply. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits and competitive compensation, typically involving 40-50 hours per week and one Saturday per month. Best Line offers paid on-line and factory training.

Requirements

At least two years' experience in comparable markets (Troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing automotive, truck, construction, industrial, or agricultural equipment).
Strong communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Computer skills.
Strong electrical abilities.
Strong mechanical abilities.
A high school diploma or equivalent industry experience.

Nice To Haves

Beneficial experience would include DC electrical, hydraulic, combustion, and associated skill sets.
Ability to work with computers, schematics, repair manuals and warranty claims is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, service, inspect, and maintain all types of construction, landscape, heavy, aerial, industrial, agricultural, and fleet equipment.
Travel to job sites and customer locations to perform duties.
Perform on-call responsibilities as needed.
