About The Position

RQ Construction, LLC is seeking an experienced Construction Project Electrical Superintendent for ongoing operations at U.S. Naval Base Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. This full-time opportunity is ideal for electrical construction professionals looking to contribute to a military healthcare project while working in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. Requirements

At least five years of experience serving as an Electrical Superintendent supervising crews on commercial, industrial, or government construction projects valued at $400,000 or greater.
Practical field experience in electrical installation and construction required.
Minimum of two years of experience overseeing medical facilities or large-scale construction projects as an Electrical Superintendent.
Experience managing scheduling, procurement, safety compliance, quality assurance, and field coordination required.
CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30 certifications required.
High school diploma or GED required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
Evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
Must successfully pass a drug screening and commercial criminal background check, including a stricter Department of Defense background check, for access to job site at military base.

Nice To Haves

Military or large commercial project experience preferred.
Familiarity with Design-Build construction methods preferred.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction operations, and jobsite safety practices.
Additional education or technical training in electrical trades or construction management preferred.
Experience using construction software such as McCormick, Primavera, BIM, or Revit preferred.

Responsibilities

Directing and managing day-to-day field operations for electrical construction activities on active projects.
Working closely with the Electrical Project Manager to provide leadership to assistant superintendents, foremen, electricians, and subcontractors.
Ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to schedule.
Coordinating field operations.
Monitoring project progress.
Enforcing safety standards.
Maintaining quality control.
Supporting project scheduling.
Ensuring accountability among field personnel.
