About The Position

Tetra Tech is seeking a full-time Electrical Engineer for a live position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to provide construction management oversight for the 27 Acre New U.S. Embassy Compound (NEC) project. This project involves the construction of a multi-building complex, including a New Office Building, Support Annexes, Marine Security Guard Residence, Staff Housing, Chief of Mission Residence Compound, Access Control Facilities, Utility Buildings, Vehicle Repair Shops, Structured Parking, and Recreational Facilities. The role requires performing technical inspections of electrical work, monitoring the contractor's quality control program, reviewing project drawings for compliance, observing onsite construction, and ensuring proper installation of electrical elements. The engineer will also monitor construction progress against the project schedule and submit weekly progress reports with recommendations based on technical reviews and field inspections. Candidates should have experience with high and low voltage equipment, telephone systems, and fire alarm systems.

Requirements

  • US Govt. Secret Clearance or higher.
  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from a U.S. institution; OR An ABET-certified Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from a foreign institution; OR An active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • 7 years of on-site experience on Vertical Construction Projects.
  • Experience with high and low voltage equipment, telephone systems, and fire alarms systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior work on overseas projects is preferred.
