About The Position

Thalle Construction Co., Inc. is pleased to announce a career opportunity for a Construction Data Report Manager to join us on the Central Everglades Planning Project (CEPP) Everglades Agricultural Area (EAA) A-2 Reservoir in Palm Beach County, Florida. This project marks the largest contract in the Jacksonville District’s history, valued at $2.87 billion. Thalle will oversee the construction of a 17.75-mile embankment dam and associated structures. This project offers potential Project Team members a valuable opportunity to broaden their professional experience and advance their careers throughout its duration. The CEPP plays a vital role in Everglades restoration, aiming to enhance ecosystem health, improve water storage, and increase resilience to climate change. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering (four-year degree from an accredited university required)
  • Minimum 3 years of embankment dam construction experience
  • Demonstrated experience on at least three (3) embankment dam construction projects
  • Experience managing and reviewing construction data, testing results, and geotechnical documentation
  • Strong understanding of embankment placement, compaction control, instrumentation monitoring, and quality assurance processes
  • Ability to work full-time on-site and be solely assigned to this role

Nice To Haves

  • Experience on USACE or other federal water infrastructure projects
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills
  • Proficiency with construction management and reporting software
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities

Responsibilities

  • Manage all construction data reporting related to embankment dam construction
  • Review and verify compaction reports, density testing, moisture control data, and lift documentation
  • Coordinate with field engineers, quality control teams, and project management
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of geotechnical testing and instrumentation data
  • Prepare and submit required construction data reports to project stakeholders
  • Support audit and inspection processes
