About The Position
We are hiring an experienced Crew Leader for General Laborers to support commercial construction projects in Cedar Rapids, IA. Candidates from Marion, Hiawatha, North Liberty and Iowa City are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience on a commercial construction site
- OSHA 10
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must have a Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
- Must pass drug screen and all required background checks.

Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee a general labor crew at the jobsite.
- Maintain a safe, organized work environment and reinforce site safety requirements.
- Coordinate daily work assignments, priorities, and crew schedules.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between general laborers and project supervisors.
- Work alongside the crew to complete assigned general labor tasks.
- Perform site cleanup activities, including sweeping, cleaning, and removing mud in outdoor work areas.
- Ensure crew members use required personal protective equipment, including hardhats, safety glasses, safety vests, steel-toed boots, and gloves.
