About The Position

This position is located in Belcamp, MD. The Construction Cost Estimator will be responsible for managing proposals on task order contracts, performing construction project estimating, assembling proposals with required documentation, and contributing to business development efforts. The role requires the ability to build a project estimate from a narrative without a design. Applicants will be notified via phone or email within ten (10) business days of submittal. The wage/salary range is $85k – 140k.

Requirements

• Certified Construction Manager or Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college
• Three plus years’ experience in estimating construction projects from site visits / off drawings
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Suite
• Current favorable National Agency Check with Inquiry (NACI), in accordance with AR 380-67
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Previous Federal DoD contract experience
• Management of proposing on task order contracts
• Construction Project Estimating experience
• Ability to build a project from a narrative and estimate without a design
• Assemble a proposal with all required documentation
• Business development background to include proposal development
• RSMeans or other cost estimating software experience
• Microsoft Project experience
• Other duties as assigned
