Requirements

  • 48 mos. trg. or 48 mos. exp. in natural resources specialty ( architecture, landscape architecture, construction management, engineering, environmental science or agricultural science) AND valid driver’s license.
  • Undergraduate major core program & 24 mos. trg. or 24 mos. exp. in natural resources specialty ( architecture, landscape architecture, construction management, engineering, environmental science or agricultural science) AND valid driver’s license.
  • Completion of graduate major core program & 12 mos. exp. in natural resources specialty ( architecture, landscape architecture, construction management, engineering, environmental science or agricultural science) AND valid driver’s license.
  • Equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.
  • Natural resources specialty is architecture, landscape architecture, construction management, engineering, environmental science or agricultural science.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

  • May require statewide travel
  • May be expected to work some evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as specialist for the Division of Engineering (DOE) by assisting division staff with statewide capital construction projects
  • Coordinates statewide purchasing projects for the Division of Engineering
  • Processes invoices & maintain budgetary control relative to impact of change orders (i.e., increase &/or decrease in amount specified in contract or purchase order)
  • Monitors & assists in all aspects of the bid process to accomplish completion within scheduled deadlines (e.g., coordinates bid date, prepares legal advertisements for publication in newspaper & on DOE & other State Agency websites)
