About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role will coordinate and manage all phases of road construction projects to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. The position drives project safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance across township, state, and federal requirements. The Construction Coordinator will develop schedules, track progress, and report performance using project management tools. They will lead communication with subcontractors, agencies, and stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain alignment. Additionally, the role oversees project documentation, change orders, and closeout activities including final billing and reporting.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to manage priorities, solve problems, and coordinate multiple construction activities
• Working knowledge of heavy/civil construction practices, project workflows, and field operations
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with teams, clients, and regulatory stakeholders
• Ability to lead and direct work while maintaining a high standard of customer service
• Proficiency with project management tools and standard business software applications
• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination
• Successful candidate must submit to drug/alcohol screen, and background check
