About The Position

Repsol is hiring a Construction Coordinator to support the Marcellus Asset within the Unconventional Business Unit. This role is based onsite from our office in Horseheads, New York plus time onsite in the field. The Construction Coordinator supports the Sr. Project Execution Supervisor in planning, coordinating, and executing construction activities for Marcellus surface facilities, including well pad development, gas gathering pipelines, dehydration and compression sites, measurement facilities, and tie-ins. The role ensures safe, compliant, and efficient field execution and delivers high standards in safety, environmental protection, quality, cost control, and schedule adherence. This position requires close daily collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Drilling & Completions, Midstream partners, S&E, Land/ROW, Survey, Asset Support, and construction contractors.

Requirements

Full U.S. work authorization without restrictions, conditions, or current/future sponsorship.
High School diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary technical or construction management coursework preferred.
5+ years of construction experience in upstream or midstream natural gas development.
Strong working knowledge of Marcellus operational environment and Pennsylvania regulatory requirements.
Experience coordinating construction across multiple concurrent pads, pipelines, or facilities
Experience supporting brownfield tie‑ins and live‑gas coordination
Demonstrated field leadership and safety performance.
Familiarity with ASME B31.8, welding/NDE, hydrotesting, civil construction, and basic E&I.
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, civil drawings, isometrics, and alignment sheets.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Teams), PDF markup, and basic surveying/GPS tools.
Strong communication, contractor leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver’s license and ability to work in rural, rugged field conditions.

Responsibilities

Promote a strong safety culture consistent with company values and the direction of the Sr. Execution Supervisor.
Lead daily executions and verify that contractor work plans address job hazards.
Ensure correct use of permits (LOTO, excavation, hot work, confined space).
Enforce Life‑Saving Rules and Stop Work Authority.
Validate contractor compliance with HSE expectations and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate daily construction activities across civil, mechanical, and E&I scopes.
Direct installation of gas gathering pipelines, measurement, dehydration, and compression pads.
Coordinate facility and pipeline tie‑ins with Operations and Midstream partners.
Support troubleshooting, design clarifications, and field adjustments with Engineering.
Maintain regular field presence to monitor work quality and contractor performance.
Conduct pre‑job walks with Engineering, HSE, Survey, Land/ROW, and contractors.
Review IFC drawings, MOCs, material readiness, and inspection requirements.
Support the Sr. Execution Supervisor in development of schedules and outlook workload.
Verify environmental controls and site readiness before mobilization.
Ensure work meets design specifications and industry codes (B31.8, WPS/PQR, coating, NDE).
Validate trenching, bedding, installation, depth-of-cover, and hydrostatic testing procedures.
Monitor redlines and work with Engineering to produce accurate as-builts.
Participate in PSSR, commissioning planning, and turnover preparation.
Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania DEP regulations including E&S plans, NPDES requirements, and Chapter 102/105 for waterways and wetlands.
Coordinate with county conservation districts and regulatory inspectors.
Monitor and maintain BMPs, stormwater controls, and restoration.
Support adherence to township/county road use agreements, permits, and restrictions.
Provide daily updates to the Sr. Execution Supervisor on progress, risks, and issues.
Coordinate with D&C, Production, Engineering, HSE, Survey, Land/ROW, Midstream, and third parties.
Support landowner interface and manage contractor communication in the field.
Document progress through daily reports, photos, and status summaries.
Material tracking and procurement accountability for execution.
Track construction progress vs. plan and escalate deviations early.
Validate contractor quantities, timesheets, labor/equipment charges, and change orders.
Support the Sr. Execution Supervisor in managing expenditure vs. AFE.
Ensure turnover packages (as-builts, tests, certifications) are complete and accurate.
Drive punch list closure and ensure timely restoration and compliance signoff.
