About The Position

The Construction Coordinator is responsible for job creation workflow and milestone management of construction projects, as well as administrative quality control of jobs. This role involves managing the full lifecycle of construction projects, liaising with various internal client groups, identifying and managing resources, and analyzing quality control data. The position requires strong data tracking skills, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to quickly learn new software tools. While the majority of the work is in-office, there will be some field work (15-25%) to check on job statuses. The role is expected to extend through the end of the year and offers training in specific systems like P2.

Responsibilities

  • Manage & Track Milestones: Create jobs in JT/Polaris, issue jobs to design, manage jobs through full lifecycle updating milestones in JT/Polaris, handle exceptions to the life cycle SLAs, and reconcile jobs (office).
  • Liaise with Stakeholders: Serve as the point of contact for all internal client cross-functional groups including BOC, CPM, FPM, and sales, and provide reporting for next level management.
  • Identify Resources: Create and approve funding requests, manage and reconcile materials, research contracts and agreements, manage funding requests/purchase orders, and be responsible for job estimates (finance).
  • Manage and Analyze Quality Control Flow: Manage the quality control workflow, validate that field quality control is performed, pull reports/provide feedback based on analysis of reports, and interact with other roles, including specialists and permit coordinators to ensure all milestones have been closed.
  • Conduct Admin and Milestone Quality Control: Follow admin QC checklist (materials, invoice, pictures, footages), validate permits are closed, ensure the final invoice milestone is set, ensure all milestones are updated, and close jobs.
