About The Position

ABM is seeking a reliable and experienced Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and safety across active construction zones. The role removes debris, dust, and hazardous materials to support a safe and efficient work environment. Duties include cleaning floors, surfaces, restrooms, and equipment, assisting with seasonal tasks, and reporting minor maintenance needs. On-the-job training is provided, and prior experience or a diploma is not required. The schedule is either Monday–Sunday, 5:00 AM–5:00 PM, or Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM–5:00 AM; weekend flexibility is required. The pay range is $22–$25.30 per hour. The work location is 175 PR 1604, Abilene, TX 79601. Applicants must be able to speak and understand either English or Spanish to receive instructions, understand safety requirements, and communicate with supervisors. Requirements

No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.

Nice To Haves

One year of similar work experience in janitorial or construction environments.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain construction site facilities, including trailers, restrooms, and common areas.
Follow procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to surfaces and fixtures.
Notify the supervisor of needed repairs or safety concerns.
Maintain effective communication with site personnel, supervisors, and team members.
Comply with company and regulatory safety, security, compliance, and quality standards.
Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, walls, ceilings, and equipment.
Move boxes, crates, and equipment to access cleaning areas, manually or with hand trucks.
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate tools and solutions.
Wash and replace blinds as needed.
Gather and dispose of construction debris and trash.
Perform seasonal tasks such as sweeping walkways, raking leaves, cutting grass, or removing snow.
Clean and sanitize restrooms and food service areas.
