Construction Assistant Project Manager Internship - Spring 2027
About The Position
Superior is looking for highly motivated and energetic students to participate in our internship program during the Spring term (January - April). When you join Superior, you join a national leader in electrical design and construction. In addition to your day-to-day responsibilities, we provide our interns with lunch-and-learns, leadership training, career prep, unique jobsite visits, and beyond. Under the guidance of our Project Operations team, the Assistant Project Manager Intern will gain exposure to our jobsites and how we keep our projects moving forward, including contracting, scheduling, estimating, bidding, and contract administration. This role is based on a jobsite.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Construction Systems Management or related field
Responsibilities
- Support project documentation including construction drawings, requests for information, submittals, and meeting minutes
- Document weekly project owner’s meetings and decisions
- Post drawings and specifications with most recent information
- Assist the Project Operations team with site safety documentation and coordination
- Assist in the management of project permit processes
- Help maintain and distribute project schedule
- Assist the Project Operations team with closeout of project, including generation of project punch list and documentation
- Collaborate and demonstrate teamwork in a project setting
