About The Position
Paul Davis Restoration of Southwest Montana is seeking a Construction Apprentice to join their team in Belgrade, MT. This is a full-time, year-round position with a pay rate of $25-$28/hr plus overtime. The company helps homeowners and businesses recover from fire, water, storm, and other property damage, and the reconstruction team puts things back together. This role is for someone who enjoys working with their hands, wants to learn the construction trades, and takes pride in quality workmanship, offering a hands-on position with a clear path into the skilled trades.
Requirements
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Able to lift 75 pounds and perform physical work daily
- Reliable, punctual, and coachable
- Takes pride in quality workmanship and doing things the right way
Nice To Haves
- Construction, trades, military, maintenance, or physical labor experience preferred
- No formal carpentry experience required—we'll train the right person
- Construction or trade experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform demolition of damaged building materials including drywall, flooring, cabinets, trim, and insulation
- Assist with residential and commercial reconstruction projects
- Install drywall, tape, texture, and prepare surfaces for paint
- Perform finish carpentry including trim, baseboard, doors, hardware, and cabinetry
- Assist with flooring installation including LVP, laminate, tile, and carpet preparation
- Perform framing, blocking, and general carpentry work
- Complete punch-list items and final project details
- Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment
- Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites
- Communicate professionally with customers and teammates
- Follow company safety standards and quality expectations
