About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role involves performing sampling and testing of materials to ensure compliance with quality standards, documenting test results accurately, and communicating findings to operations teams. The position also requires maintaining, calibrating, and operating laboratory and field-testing equipment, supporting troubleshooting efforts by identifying material or process issues, and following all safety procedures while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong capability in performing material testing and interpreting results
• Ability to follow established procedures with accuracy and attention to detail
• Skilled in using laboratory equipment and digital data-entry tools
• Effective communication and collaboration skills across teams
• Commitment to safe work practices and maintaining quality standards
• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check

Responsibilities

• Perform sampling and testing of materials to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Document test results accurately and communicate findings to operations teams
• Maintain, calibrate, and operate laboratory and field-testing equipment
• Support troubleshooting efforts by identifying material or process issues
