About The Position

The Town Manager is seeking three Constables to serve one-year terms, expiring November 30, 2027. Applicants must submit a written letter to the Town Manager stating their reason for seeking appointment. The letter must include a statement about the applicant’s moral character, signed by at least five reputable citizens of Winchester, including one attorney-at-law. Appointment is subject to an investigation by the appointing authority. Letters of interest, a resume, and the Winchester Committee Volunteer Application must be submitted by November 20, 2025, by mail to Town Hall or by email.
