About The Position

This position is responsible for the consolidation and reporting of financials for all U.S. and Canadian Assembly Plants. It involves supporting Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance and external/internal audit procedures related to Assembly Plant financials. The role includes reviewing, developing, and consolidating Manufacturing Assembly business plans, as well as reviewing model year budgets and capitalization forecasts. The analyst will present monthly results to the Director of North America Manufacturing Finance, provide guidance and frequent interaction with Manufacturing Operations personnel and Assembly Plant Finance staffs, and create on-demand budgets for special studies used by senior management in making long-term investment decisions. Through this role, one will gain diversified experience working with various people in different roles at both Corporate and Plant levels, a better understanding of actual and forecasted Financial Performance, a deep understanding of annual budgets and forecasts adjusted for new model year budget standards, and additional exposure to SOX, compliance, and internal controls. These roles provide direction, review, and validation of plant financial information, with exposure to senior management through presenting financial performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant Finance experience
  • Demonstrated success in financial analysis, process improvements, and leading a project or a team
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite products and financial consolidation tools

Nice To Haves

  • MBA, CMA, CPA or equivalent
  • Preferably industrial environment experience
  • SAP, and Hyperion Essbase
