About The Position

Consolidated Data Analytics Platform Systems Administrator The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled Consolidated Data Analytics Platform Systems Administrator to support and maintain critical data environments across Mission Partner Environments (MPE). This role is responsible for the deployment, configuration, administration, and optimization of enterprise analytics platforms that enable secure data sharing and collaboration among mission partners. You’ll provide your customers with insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a critical network. You’ll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning. We focus on growing as a team, so you’ll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the teamwork through challenges and develop new methodologies. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Linux Systems Administrator in a security-focused environment
  • Experience with Linux operating systems such as RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus, OpenVAS, and remediation processes
  • Experience with identity and access management (IAM) concepts
  • Experience in scripting or automation using Bash, Python, and Ansible
  • Knowledge of system hardening standards such as STIGs and CIS Benchmarks
  • Knowledge of log management and SIEM platforms such as Splunk and ELK
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals such as TCP, IP, firewalls, ports, and protocols
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with container security such as Docker or Kubernetes hardening
  • Experience with endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools
  • Experience in regulated environments such as DoW or Intelligence Community
  • Knowledge of SELinux, AppArmor, and kernel-level security controls
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) principles
