About The Position

Consolidated Data Analytics Platform Kubernetes Administrator The Opportunity: We are seeking a skilled Consolidated Data Analytics Platform Kubernetes Administrator to manage, sustain, and optimize containerized analytics environments supporting enterprise data operations. This role is responsible for the administration of Kubernetes-based infrastructure that underpins scalable, high-performance data platforms, enabling advanced analytics, data integration, and mission-critical decision-making. You will apply your deep expertise in Kubernetes cluster operations, container orchestration, and platform reliability within complex, distributed environments. This position plays a key role in ensuring the availability, security, and performance of data analytics services, while supporting modernization efforts through cloud-native and DevSecOps practices. As part of a cross-functional team, you will collaborate with data engineers, platform architects, cybersecurity personnel, and mission stakeholders to deliver resilient and secure analytics capabilities. You’ll work in cluster provisioning, workload management, system monitoring, automation, and compliance with enterprise security and governance standards. You will leverage a proactive approach to system optimization, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to operate in high-demand environments where data accessibility, integrity, and timeliness are critical to mission success. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes deployment, configuration, and sustainment
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud environments such as AWS and Azure
  • Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions, including in Docker, Terraform, or GitHub
  • Experience developing, managing, and securing containers
  • Experience working with application development teams across the software development life cycle and creating solutions to complex problems in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
  • Experience with EKS
  • Experience creating and improving continuous deployment tools built on Kubernetes
  • Experience triaging and resolving issues related to both open source and commercial tools in public cloud environments
  • Experience in DoW, Intelligence Community, or other regulated environments
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Linux Shell Script
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues with CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) principles
