The Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) is seeking Conservation/Historic Preservation Workers (CW’s) for temporary seasonal positions not exceeding six months, to be located at various sites across Illinois, including Lake Murphysboro. These roles involve performing routine maintenance and janitorial duties for site buildings and public use areas, such as groundskeeping, cleaning facilities, and trash disposal. Workers will also operate and maintain equipment and vehicles, assist with habitat management and hunting programs, and some may be involved in site interpretation.
