About The Position

The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for a Health, Safety & Environment Advisor (for the evening shift) to join our HSE team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will act as an expert consultant to directors, department heads, supervisors, and employees to guide them towards the best practices in occupational health and safety. You will be part of the Health, Safety & Environment team responsible for ensuring adherence to the company’s health and safety policies and procedures, supporting operations by conducting job safety analyses and researching best OHS practices, and performing operational control audits and risk assessments. The team’s organization is established to promote cross-functional collaboration in an autonomous manner, by supporting each other and learning collectively.

Requirements

  • At least two (2) years of experience in health and safety in the manufacturing sector, where you have achieved measurable results
  • University degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Relations, or Human Resources with a health and safety specialization
  • Bilingualism French/English is essential
  • Ability to take initiative, analyze with acuity, and propose pragmatic and innovative solutions when faced with a complex problem
  • Ability to thrive on performance in a context of constant change, knowing how to combine pleasure at work and achieving objectives
  • Deeply people-oriented, while maintaining sharp professional judgment to manage priorities and align HSE with the company’s strategic objectives
  • Complete Bilingual Proficiency (French and English), both spoken and written
  • Awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity
