About The Position

Topring is a proudly Canadian company, well established in Granby, QC, that brings its expertise in compressed air to the manufacturing, automotive, and construction sectors. With our wide range of solutions and personalized advice, we help our customers improve productivity, reduce accident risks, and save energy. We are looking for a Customer & Sales Support Advisor to join our team. In this key role, you will be the first point of contact for customers who reach out to Topring. Your challenge will be to understand their reality and recommend solutions tailored to their needs. You will also play an important role in supporting our sales representatives by helping them respond quickly to customer requests while they are on the road. At Topring, we are fortunate to have built strong relationships with our customers. They value the quality of our service and the fact that they can quickly reach a real person, without having to navigate through a series of automated prompts.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of customer service experience, ideally in a technical environment.
  • College diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent command of both French and English, spoken and written (many of our customers are located outside Quebec, making bilingualism essential).
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Knowledge of compressed air systems or a strong interest in learning, combined with the ability to understand and clearly explain technical concepts.
  • Comfortable using technology and able to navigate efficiently between multiple software applications.
  • Enjoy helping others and acting as a trusted partner to both customers and colleagues.
  • Strong attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and gain a clear understanding of customer needs.
  • Advise customers on our products and recommend solutions tailored to their business realities, while highlighting the value of Topring’s solutions.
  • Process and enter orders into our ERP system (SAP), ensuring appropriate follow-up.
  • Support customers with minor technical issues and coordinate resolution with our internal specialists for more complex situations.
  • Act as a resource for sales representatives while they are on the road by checking product availability, preparing quotations, and gathering the information needed to respond to customers.
  • Continuously develop and expand your knowledge of Topring’s solutions and the compressed air industry.
  • Follow established processes while actively contributing to their continuous improvement to ensure consistent and efficient service.
