About The Position

Quincaillerie Richelieu is seeking a Supply Chain Advisor to join their team in Montreal, Ville Saint-Laurent. This role supports continuous improvement initiatives, operational transformation, and process optimization. The advisor will actively contribute to improving operational efficiency by assisting users in adopting tools and best practices, participating in the implementation of new solutions, and supporting various supply chain projects. The position involves acting as a resource for operational teams to ensure an effective and uniform user experience, while developing a strong understanding of the company's systems, processes, and operations. This is an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in supply chain, continuous improvement, and operational projects, with potential for growth into project coordination and improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Administration (Operations and Logistics Management), Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain, operational support, continuous improvement, or project participation.
  • Experience in user support, training, or operational assistance.
  • Strong interest in systems, processes, and continuous improvement.
  • Good analytical skills and interest in operations optimization.
  • Bilingualism (French and English), both spoken and written.
  • Occasional availability to travel to divisions in Canada and the United States.
  • Knowledge or interest in supply chain systems (ERP, WMS, TMS).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of Visio or project management software (an asset).

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support and user guidance.
  • Assist users in adopting systems, tools, and operational best practices.
  • Offer support to operational teams and follow up on requests or issues related to processes and systems.
  • Prepare and maintain various tools, procedures, user guides, and operational documentation.
  • Train users on existing tools, systems, and processes.
  • Perform and document testing and validation activities during the implementation of new solutions, features, or process improvements.
  • Participate in identifying and resolving operational issues related to systems and processes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of tools and work methods to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate on various supply chain initiatives and projects.
  • Participate in business analysis activities to gather, document, and understand operational needs.
  • Contribute to process analysis, audits, and recommendations for operational optimization.
  • Produce reports, analyses, or dashboards to support decision-making and activity monitoring.
  • Collaborate with different teams to identify improvement opportunities and support operational transformation initiatives.
