About The Position
Looking for engineers who have experience auditing low voltage/ network cabling equipment within a data center. This is a long term engagement. If you are in a foreman/lead position please feel free to apply! Experience auditing/inspecting these sites are a requirement.
Requirements
- Experience auditing low voltage/network cabling equipment within a data center.
- Experience auditing/inspecting these sites.
- Scheduling and coordinating.
- Construction experience.
- QA/QC experience.
- Fiber optic cabling experience.
- Networking protocols experience.
- Data center experience.
Nice To Haves
- Foreman/lead position experience.
- Experience reviewing and leading installations to design documents and specifications.
- Data center development and/or construction management experience.
- Experience with Primavera 6.
- Experience managing IT or IP Network deployment projects in a mission critical environment requiring coordination across multiple disciplines for the delivery of a common goal.
- Experience in leading deployments of Network/Structure cabling infrastructure.
- Experience with fiber optic testing at scale inclusive of complex troubleshooting.
- Experience with outside plant cabling (OSP) deployments including OTDR/OLTS testing.
- Experience with Quality Assurance and Quality Control, including progressive inspections and acceptance.
Responsibilities
- Auditing low voltage/network cabling equipment within a data center.
- Reviewing and leading installations to design documents and specifications.
- Managing IT or IP Network deployment projects in a mission critical environment requiring coordination across multiple disciplines for the delivery of a common goal.
- Leading deployments of Network/Structure cabling infrastructure.
- Conducting fiber optic testing at scale inclusive of complex troubleshooting.
- Overseeing outside plant cabling (OSP) deployments including OTDR/OLTS testing.
- Performing Quality Assurance and Quality Control, including progressive inspections and acceptance.
