About The Position

Fluidstack is seeking a Connectivity Engineer, a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in fiber optics, structured cabling, and data center physical infrastructure. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle of physical installation projects, including coordinating Low Voltage Contractor (LVC) schedules, performing rigorous Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) checks on contractor work, and ensuring final installation adheres to all design standards, safety codes, and labeling policies. The Connectivity Engineer will serve as the primary on-site technical point of contact for the LVC and internal engineering teams, manage the LVC's deployment schedule, coordinate access and material delivery, and act as a remote hands expert. They will perform comprehensive QA inspections on all LVC work, verify infrastructure installation and grounding, and conduct or oversee optical loss testing and copper cable integrity verification. The role also involves managing vendor relationships, reviewing design documentation, generating test reports, and educating internal employees on best practices. This is a contract position with a significant travel requirement.
