About The Position

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with IT / Connectivity experience to support the deployment of Smart Torque Tool solutions across manufacturing facilities in North America. This role will focus on tool integration, connectivity, system configuration, and manufacturing technology support for smart factory initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a blend of manufacturing engineering knowledge and hands-on experience with industrial connectivity and system integration.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, IT, or related field.
3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or industrial connectivity environments.
Experience with manufacturing systems integration and industrial communication technologies.
Knowledge of smart manufacturing concepts, data collection systems, or connected tooling.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel extensively across North America.

Nice To Haves

Experience with MES, PLCs, industrial Ethernet, or IoT-enabled manufacturing systems.
Familiarity with torque tools, assembly systems, or industrial automation technologies.
Exposure to Industry 4.0 or smart factory implementations preferred.

Responsibilities

Support integration and deployment of Smart Torque Tool systems across manufacturing plants.
Evaluate plant infrastructure and connectivity requirements for smart tooling implementations.
Configure and troubleshoot tool communication, connectivity, and data collection systems.
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and IT teams to ensure successful deployment and integration.
Support MES, PLC, and industrial network-related activities as needed.
Assist with implementation planning, validation, and user training.
Document deployment standards, connectivity requirements, and troubleshooting procedures.
Support continuous improvement and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
