Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in activity planning, recreation therapy, or a similar role—ideally in a senior living or healthcare setting
  • Strong organizational and event planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Creative, energetic, and resident-focused approach
  • Comfortable with technology and electronic documentation

Responsibilities

  • Design and lead engaging programs that enrich the lives of residents.
  • Plan and facilitate a variety of social, recreational, and wellness activities.
  • Develop innovative programs that reflect residents’ interests and passions.
  • Foster friendships and create meaningful moments for residents.
  • Document activities using technology.
