About The Position

Foley & Lardner LLP is hiring a detail-oriented Conflicts Researcher to provide research support to the Conflicts Analysts. The role conducts internet and database searches to support legal conflict research and performs administrative tasks for the Professional Responsibility & Compliance Department. High-quality, accurate, and efficient work in a high-volume environment is essential. The position is listed as hybrid and is based in Milwaukee or Madison. The salary range is $52,800 to $73,900; the amount offered will be between the range minimum and midpoint based on education, experience, geographic market, and internal pay equity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.

• At least six months of work or internship experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct conflict research related to new firm business using legal conflict research software and other tools to identify corporate affiliations and aliases.
• Process Marketing/Business Development requests and send results to submitters.
• Process audit letter requests, working with the Compliance Specialist as needed to support the process and answer business professionals’ questions about request status.
• Keep multiple pending requests organized and provide status updates or information to submitting assistants or conflicts analysts.
