About The Position

The Configuration Services Analyst contributes to the effective management of configuration data, ensuring its accuracy, integrity, and usability. The role manages the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) or other configuration repositories, including configuration item records, relationships, and attributes. The analyst examines configuration data to support decision-making, improve process efficiency, and help maintain control over IT infrastructure and software systems. The role emphasizes continual improvement and achieving outcomes through integrity, caring, and excellence.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
At least 2 years of related experience in hardware or ITAM.
Demonstrated experience in the configuration line of business.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft computer applications.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of ServiceNOW and best practices.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the effective management of configuration data and ensure its accuracy, integrity, and usability.
Support decision-making processes, improve process efficiency, and enable control over IT infrastructure and software systems.
Analyze configuration data to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
Conduct data audits, reconcile inconsistencies, and ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Manage the CMDB or other configuration repositories, including maintaining configuration item records, relationships, and attributes.
Take action using integrity, caring, and excellence to achieve all-win outcomes.
