This role is within the Compliance Management team and is crucial for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and control of product configuration data throughout the product lifecycle. Requirements

  • Minimum 2-5 years experience in optical/mechanical parts and assembly manufacturing an asset
  • Able to comprehend technical documents at a basic level
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to learn and acquire knowledge/understanding through study, instruction or experience

Nice To Haves

  • Highly motivated with a demonstrated positive attitude
  • Knowledge of LN, ProductCenter and/or other ERP and PLM or data management is an asset
  • Basic experience with change management and version control is an asset
  • Basic understanding of Global Trade, Engineering and Configuration policies and procedures

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of configuration management processes and tools.
  • Support the creation, modification, and control of configuration documentation, including drawings, specifications, and change orders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure configuration data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Perform data entry and verification tasks related to configuration baselines and change control.
  • Provide administrative support to function as needed
