Requirements

  • BS/BA Degree
  • 8 to 10 years of related experience

Responsibilities

  • Provides services for engineering, installation, and O&M of a Configuration Management (CM) system to include a CM Plan outlining processes for detailed recording and updating of information related to hardware and software assets and configurations for all networks.
  • Enables the control of the IT infrastructure and services by monitoring and maintaining information on resources needed to deliver IT services.
  • Provides planning, identification, control, status, and verification of configuration items (CIs) throughout their lifecycle.
  • Establishes and maintains the consistency of information regarding the design requirements, functional and physical attributes, and operational information of enterprise CIs.
  • Ensures that the standardized methods and procedures are used for efficient handling of Changes in order to minimize the impact of change-related incidents upon service quality.
  • Ensures accountability for the daily operation of the Change Management Process while ensuring organizational adherence.
  • Creates and maintains Change Management Policies.
  • Designs, implements, and manages a formal Change Management process.
  • Manages, coordinates, monitors, and reports on change process activities.
  • Communicates with the relevant parties involved with an approved change to ensure activities are coordinated and carried out according to plan.
