Requirements

BS/BA Degree
8 to 10 years of related experience

Responsibilities

Provides services for engineering, installation, and O&M of a Configuration Management (CM) system to include a CM Plan outlining processes for detailed recording and updating of information related to hardware and software assets and configurations for all networks.
Enables the control of the IT infrastructure and services by monitoring and maintaining information on resources needed to deliver IT services.
Provides planning, identification, control, status, and verification of configuration items (CIs) throughout their lifecycle.
Establishes and maintains the consistency of information regarding the design requirements, functional and physical attributes, and operational information of enterprise CIs.
Ensures that the standardized methods and procedures are used for efficient handling of Changes in order to minimize the impact of change-related incidents upon service quality.
Ensures accountability for the daily operation of the Change Management Process while ensuring organizational adherence.
Creates and maintains Change Management Policies.
Designs, implements, and manages a formal Change Management process.
Manages, coordinates, monitors, and reports on change process activities.
Communicates with the relevant parties involved with an approved change to ensure activities are coordinated and carried out according to plan.
