Crown Equipment Corporation is hiring a Configuration Management Database Manager to own and administer the enterprise CMDB strategy and governance framework. The role defines configuration management processes, policies, standards, controls, and documentation, and establishes accountability for configuration items (CIs) across infrastructure, applications, cloud platforms, network services, databases, and business applications. The manager establishes CI classification and identification standards, required attributes, naming conventions, relationship requirements, and data quality and compliance standards. The role monitors the completeness, accuracy, consistency, integrity, and timeliness of configuration data; develops scorecards, dashboards, and executive reporting; audits CIs and service relationships; coordinates remediation with CI owners and support teams; and drives continuous improvement in CMDB trustworthiness and adoption. The manager establishes standards for automated discovery, relationship creation, and service mapping accuracy, and advises on service impact analysis, root cause investigations, and dependency identification. This is a hybrid remote position based out of Crown’s New Bremen, Ohio location; a reasonable commute of 1–2 hours is necessary. Occasional travel of 0–5% is required. Crown does not provide work authorization sponsorship for this position.
