Through interpretation of customer requirements, develops, plans, and implements design solutions via engineering analysis, product capability, manufacturing knowledge, and engineering processes. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
- Two years related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
Responsibilities
- Collaboratively works with internal teams in pursuit of new business opportunities.
- Across all value streams, knowledgeable in product application and configuration, design solutions, tooling, and cost estimates.
- Execute technical tasks associated with the engineering release process including but not limited to, requirements management, product configuration, test protocol, technical documentation, and contract review deliverables.
- Interacts with internal and external customers agents to address and resolve part configuration, change management, and change implementation throughout the entire product life cycle.
- Reviews and checks engineering calculations, design models, drawings, and design documents for technical content, errors, notes, accuracy, functionality, and completion.
- Supports continuous improvement initiatives and completion of implementation activities.
- May represent the company on industry committees and accompanying duties.
- Must be coachable, goal orientated, self-starter, and excel independently or in a collaborative environment.
