About The Position
Leads the synthesis of new and innovative conceptual/preliminary aerospace/aeronautical vehicles. Develops vehicle configuration designs from customer requirements. Leads multi-discipline trade studies to assess design space and concept viability. Defines and proposes trade studies to design space, cost effectiveness and regulatory requirements. Leads development of aerospace/aeronautical vehicle requirements (e.g., range, payload, operating and lifecycle cost). Mentors others. Works under consultative direction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
- An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
