About The Position

BAE Systems is looking for a Data Manager to support our engineering teams in planning, preparing, organizing, controlling, and submitting contractually required data. The work is guided by data management policies and procedures, and under the direction of the designated Configuration/Data Management (CDM) Lead. This fast-paced role is vital to the performance of a program throughout its lifecycle. You will be required to review contractual documents, based on the information, construct a 30/60/90 day deliverable outlook with due dates, resources and proactively communicate to the program, holding individuals accountable to the schedule. You will present deliverable status during program management meetings. As deliverable items are received, you are required to review them to ensure they meet contractual requirements and followed DM processes. Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties set forth above. Communicate effectively and proactively both orally and in writing. Independently execute DM processes and procedures. Drive conflicts and questions to resolution with minimal support. Exhibit sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel, customers and suppliers. Make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations. Strong understanding of Microsoft Office products (Word, Power Point, Excel). Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills
  • Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Clearance
  • 2+ Years of Data Management or related experience
