About The Position
• Ship and receive product and examine product for damage • Store product according to established procedures • Assist with maintaining inventory records • Enter inventory information into ERP system • Understand and follow inventory management SOP’s • Pick orders and prepare for shipment • Troubleshoot issues utilizing the ERP system and reporting tools • Operate pallet jack, forklift, and other tools as needed • Contribute to the daily maintenance and general cleanliness of the warehouse area • Assist with other material management tasks when needed
Requirements
- warehouse environment
- ERP
- communication and people skills
- Some college or technical school preferred or equivalent related work experience
- 1-2 years’ experience in an automated warehouse environment using scanning/scan gun technology
- Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Willingness to offer solutions for process improvements
- Enthusiastic with ability to multi-task
- Dependable
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience using a formal ERP-type system is a plus
- Previous forklift experience / Forklift certified is a plus
- Previous experience with ShipExec system a plus
- Any relevant certifications a plus
