At Key Media, you’ll drive the speaker acquisition and content delivery for HRFest Canada, securing senior-level speakers and working closely with sponsors to bring compelling, commercially aligned content to life. We’re a thriving global media business with teams in Australia, Canada, the US, the UK, New Zealand, Asia, and Europe. Based in Toronto with hybrid flexibility, you’ll collaborate with colleagues worldwide and play a central role in delivering one of our flagship North American events. This is a fast-paced, hands-on contract role (4–5 months) ideal for an experienced conference producer, event content specialist, or freelance event professional. You’ll take ownership of speaker acquisition and agenda delivery—working across content, sales, and marketing to build a high-quality, commercially successful conference programme. You’ll have the autonomy to: Own and deliver the speaker strategy for a large-scale, 2-day B2B event Secure ~150 speakers aligned to key agenda themes Manage sponsored speaking opportunities in collaboration with the sales team Shape agenda development through speaker insights and market research Act as the primary point of contact for all confirmed speakers
