About The Position

Linx Printing Technologies is launching direct sales and service operations in the United States and is seeking a talented Conference Leader to guide its first US Growth Driver, build its commercial foundation, and grow its customer base across the US. The Conference Leader will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's reputation, leading frontline sales execution, and ensuring customers receive the best consultative support. Requirements

  • Leadership capability with a hands-on, coaching-oriented approach.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar.
  • Experience or interest in coding and marking technology.
  • At least 4 years of successful sales experience in coding, marking, industrial automation, or a related technical field.
  • Prior experience leading, mentoring, or coaching salespeople.
  • Proven track record of winning new business and managing complex sales cycles.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Linx’s first US commercial team and drive market share growth in the region.
  • Coach and develop a high-performing Growth Driver while also owning personal sales targets.
  • Run regional sales meetings, share insights, and shape commercial strategy.
  • Act as an Owner-Operator of the region, managing customer relationships, coaching the Growth Driver, and driving sales performance.
  • Spend 3 days per week in the field visiting clients, supporting the Growth Driver, conducting product demonstrations, and closing deals.
  • Spend 2 days per week in the office for coaching, pipeline reviews, strategic planning, and prospecting.
  • Coach and mentor the Growth Driver through joint visits, pipeline reviews, and skill development.
  • Run regional sales meetings (“conferences”) to share insights, align strategy, and drive performance.
  • Set clear expectations and ensure consistent execution of Linx’s sales process.
  • Support onboarding, training, and performance management as the US team expands.
  • Carry a personal quota of approximately 35 printers during Year 1.
  • Identify and pursue new customers through cold calling, targeted outreach, and strategic prospecting.
  • Support the Growth Driver in winning new business and expanding territory presence.
  • Qualify leads, develop proposals, and close deals to achieve sales and profit goals.
  • Guide the Growth Driver through complex sales cycles and customer engagements.
  • Establish and maintain strong connections with decision-makers.
  • Ensure customers receive exceptional service and long-term value from Linx solutions.
  • Use Salesforce and other sales tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, call systems, live chat, email) to manage the pipeline and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure the Growth Driver maintains accurate, high-quality CRM activity.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and new technologies.
  • Support technical and commercial strategy within the territory.
  • Identify opportunities and refine the team’s sales approach.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Service, and Sales leadership to share insights, shape campaigns, and drive growth.
  • Act as the link between field activity and regional leadership, providing feedback and recommendations.
