About The Position

This position will place the front halves on debone cones. Front halves will be transferred from the collection bins to cones at the beginning of the debone line. Successful trainees will correctly place a front half on each cone, without missing, dropping front halves, damaging ribs, or splitting the keel bones. All Tyson Team Members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal and food safety.

Requirements

Ability to push, pull, carry, or lift 50+ pounds.
Ability to work in damp cold or damp hot environments.
Use of hands and arms above shoulder level.
Ability to stand 8 to 10 hours a day.
Ability to climb up and down stairs to get to and from the work areas.
Must wear Personal Protective Equipment: ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard, wraps and/or aprons, cut gloves and arm guards.
Ability to work under minimum supervision.
Ability to use a knife/scissors.
Must be able to do minimal stooping and bending.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Applicant must reside in the United States.
