Requirements

  • Proficient in heavy equipment operation, particularly cherry pickers, forklifts and Bendi’s.
  • Experience in shipping processes within a warehouse setting.
  • Detailed oriented.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
  • Familiarity with MHE operation for moving goods within the warehouse.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members.
  • Able to bend, stoop, lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds, unassisted.
  • Stand and walk continuously throughout an 8-hour shift (up to 100% of the time).
  • Climb ladders safely, work in dusty and dirty conditions; handle and store hazardous materials; clean and maintain a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assembling customer orders according to the order in his or her RF device.
  • Ensuring the completeness and correctness of all orders pulled.
  • Operating proper picker equipment to retrieve items from high shelves and storage areas.
  • Processing of order instructions correctly.
  • Ergonomically proper transfer of product pipe from racks to banding cradle.
  • Following all safety protocol and warehouse procedures.
  • Inspecting product for damage; reporting as needed.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Collaborating with warehouse supervisors to manage inventory levels and assist in warehouse management systems.
  • Conducting trip inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and reporting any mechanical issues.
  • Assisting in heavy lifting tasks as needed, ensuring safe handling of all materials.
