Requirements
- Proficient in heavy equipment operation, particularly cherry pickers, forklifts and Bendi’s.
- Experience in shipping processes within a warehouse setting.
- Detailed oriented.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with MHE operation for moving goods within the warehouse.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members.
Responsibilities
- Assembling customer orders according to the order in his or her RF device.
- Ensuring the completeness and correctness of all orders pulled.
- Operate proper picker equipment to retrieve items from high shelves and storage areas.
- Processing of order instructions correctly.
- Ergonomically proper transfer of product pipe from racks to banding cradle.
- Follow all safety protocol and warehouse procedures.
- Inspect product for damage; report as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to manage inventory levels and assist in warehouse management systems.
- Conduct trip inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks as needed, ensuring safe handling of all materials.
