Requirements

  • Ability to work from drawings, standard work instructions, sketches, and verbal instructions from the supervisor or team leader.
  • Ability to perform visual and dimensional inspections of parts using precision measuring instruments such as gauges and CMMs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, operate, and adjust a wide range of CNC machine tools – including lathes, grinders, milling machines, EDM machines, and laser machining machines – to machine new parts and repair worn parts.
  • Work from drawings, standard work instructions, sketches, and verbal instructions from the supervisor or team leader.
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections of parts using precision measuring instruments such as gauges and CMMs.
  • Provide support for quality management, equipment maintenance, and material flow.
  • Maintain logbooks.
  • Perform simple deburring.
  • Install details such as bushings and nuts.
  • Wash, store, package, and move parts.
  • Ensure that part standards and specifications are met.
  • Organize and keep your workstation tidy.
  • Adhere to our high standards for occupational health and safety.
  • Participate in hands-on training to improve current skills and acquire new ones.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with other team members.
  • Contribute to the development of new parts or procedures for specific methods and tools.
