We are seeking a highly meticulous and dependable Condition Report (CR) Manager to oversee the vehicle inspection and reporting process. In the auto auction world, accuracy is everything. Requirements

  • Detail-Oriented & Responsible: You notice the small things others miss, take extreme ownership of your work, and show up ready to lead every day.
  • Growth Mindset: You are eager to learn the ins and outs of our auction operations and want a clear path to career advancement.
  • Industry Experience: 2+ years of experience in automotive inspection, auto auction operations, collision repair estimation, or insurance adjusting is preferred.
  • Supervisory Experience: 2 + years of previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable using condition reporting software, handheld inspection tablets, and basic inventory management systems.
  • Knowledge of Standards: Familiarity with NAAA guidelines is a major plus.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Quality Control: Review and finalize comprehensive vehicle condition reports (including structural damage, mechanical issues, cosmetic flaws, and odometer readings).
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of vehicle inspectors to ensure consistency, accuracy, and efficiency in their reporting.
  • Workflow Management: Manage the daily flow of vehicles through the CR process to meet tight auction deadlines.
  • Arbitration Reduction: Ensure all reports strictly adhere to NAAA (National Auto Auction Association) standards to minimize post-sale disputes and arbitrations.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with the lot operations, detail shop, and arbitration teams to resolve vehicle status discrepancies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the inspection process and implement solutions to increase daily throughput without sacrificing quality.
