About The Position

Black & Veatch has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our asset engineering team in southern California. As part of our Infrastructure Advisory Solution team, this position will be responsible for managing and orchestrating southern California projects and helping build a regional condition assessment team that utilizes your vision for the practice and the strength and capabilities of our national practice and world-class team. The position will be supported by our national team - a group focused on delivering value to our clients through high technical standards of work and a complete commitment to a one-team culture. Within our Condition Assessment business, we have seen consistent growth driven by our clients’ needs to address aging infrastructure challenges. A major issue is the need to better understand asset conditions and performance so that investment can be planned effectively. This position focuses on supporting our West region clients in managing the asset lifecycle of their pipelines and facilities, through gathering vital condition and performance information and providing solutions to manage and mitigate deterioration and failure of existing infrastructure through rehabilitation, maintenance, and replacement. This position includes project management, technical practice development, and business development. Success in this role will be defined by the ability to independently lead complex condition assessment projects, build trusted client relationships in Southern California, grow and mentor a high‑performing technical team, and expand Black & Veatch’s condition assessment footprint through repeat work and follow‑on services.
