About The Position
At BX Civil & Construction, we're gearing up for the 2026 Construction Season and we want YOU to be part of our success story! We're looking for skilled and experienced Concrete Workers/Finishers who are passionate about their craft and ready to bring their expertise to our dynamic team. Imagine a workplace where every day is a new challenge and your skills are the key to building something extraordinary. As an Experienced Concrete Worker/Finisher, you'll play a crucial role in setting string lines, placing, finishing, and grading concrete. But that's not all – you'll be the driving force behind our crew by helping load and unload materials and equipment, adjust and perform basic maintenance on equipment, and operate tools and equipment of all types, such as forklifts, tractors, loaders, jack hammers, shovels, saws. You may also operate single rear axle trucks under 26,000 GVW and transport crew or equipment to the job site. You will be expected to complete general laborer tasks as needed.
Requirements
- 18 years or older
- Hands-on experience in concrete work
- Prior experience in concrete finishing
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs. regularly
- Working in a fast-paced, outdoor construction environment
- A valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Flexibility for overtime, weekend work, and travel
- Ability to take initiative
- Ability to work well on a team
- Commitment to contributing to high-quality results
