About The Position

BX Civil & Construction is seeking skilled and experienced Concrete Workers/Finishers for the 2026 Construction Season. This role involves setting string lines, placing, finishing, and grading concrete. Responsibilities also include loading and unloading materials and equipment, performing basic maintenance on equipment, and operating various tools and equipment such as forklifts, tractors, loaders, jack hammers, shovels, and saws. The role may also involve operating single rear axle trucks under 26,000 GVW to transport crew or equipment and completing general laborer tasks as needed.

Requirements

Hands-on experience in concrete work, specifically concrete finishing and form setting
Must be 18 years or older
Prior experience in concrete finishing is required
Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs. regularly
Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor construction environment
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Flexibility for overtime, weekend work, and travel for out-of-town projects
Ability to take initiative and work well on a team
Pre-employment drug screens are required
Must be authorized to work in the US and pass E-Verify

Familiarity with setting forms is strongly preferred
