About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Rodbuster with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various aspects of concrete work, including form setting, rebar tying, concrete placement and finishing, and form dismantling. This role requires the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, at heights, and to adhere to strict safety protocols. The position involves physical labor and the proficient use of various construction tools.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience as a Concrete Rodbuster.
Ability to follow established finish grade during the pouring of slabs.
Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
Ability to tie rebar per plans.
Ability to install embeds and anchor bolts in accordance with plans.
Ability to set string line for setting of concrete forms.
Proficient in the use of the following tools: straight edges to establish grade, bull floats, float blades, combo blades, hand tools, sledgehammer, hand saws, power drills, saws, lasers, vibrators, walk behind trowels or riders, and had the knowledge when to use these tools at the proper time during place and finish.
Patch and point experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Follow established finish grade during the pouring of slabs.
Tie rebar per plans.
Install embeds and anchor bolts in accordance with plans.
Set string line for setting of concrete forms.
Measure, cut, assemble forms, construct and erect/build in place prefabricated wooden/steel forms.
Set up and secure forms at correct location, leveling ground and ensuring forms are stable and aligned.
Perform concrete placement and finish to include placing, finishing, curing, and cutting of concrete slabs.
Patching of voids and repair of concrete work.
Dismantle, clean, store or dispose of forms after use.
