About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. We are seeking a Concrete Production Supervisor to oversee daily concrete production activities at an onsite portable concrete plant supporting a major construction project. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production while leading plant operators, loader operators, and ground laborers to meet customer and project requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of concrete production experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Minimum of 3 years of portable concrete plant operations experience supporting construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of concrete batching processes, portable plant operations, material handling, equipment utilization, and production scheduling.
  • Project management experience with the ability to coordinate production activities and meet project requirements.
  • Proven capability to motivate teams, promote safe work practices, and achieve operational goals.
  • Effective problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills with attention to quality and detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple functions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily concrete production activities to safely meet quality, volume, and delivery targets.
  • Supervise and coordinate plant operators, loader operators, and ground laborers to optimize plant performance.
  • Monitor concrete quality, production efficiency, and plant operations while addressing issues proactively.
  • Enforce safety procedures, environmental requirements, and operational standards across the site.
  • Collaborate with project leadership, quality control personnel, and logistics teams to support customer and contract commitments.
