About The Position

This role involves operating a cement truck, performing daily inspections, maintaining logs, and handling concrete materials. The driver will be responsible for safe transportation to and from job sites, loading and unloading materials, and ensuring the equipment is clean and in good working order.

Requirements

Understanding of diesel, hydraulics and electrical related applications.
Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well in a fast paced and stressful environment.
3+ years of CDL driving experience required.
Valid CDL Class B or Higher

Responsibilities

Performing pre and post trip cement truck inspection every day before departure and after returning to the plant.
Ensuring the truck is in good working order and keeping record of the inspections.
Maintaining a trip log book required by the DOT.
Climbing into and out of the mixer truck and up and down the ladder.
Driving to and from the job worksite.
Production activities that include climbing up and down the ladder, such adding and mixing concrete materials or chemicals with water to the batch If additions are needed.
Loading at the plant and unloading materials from mixer truck at the jobsite.
Maintaining records of grout delivered.
Cleaning equipment and work areas after at the direction of the field superintendent.
End of day truck washout at the plant.
